The courses use AVEVA\OSIsoft official program and teaching material.

The professors have an excellent knowledge of industrial computer technology and a twenty years experience of PI System infrastructure. Our tutors have an individual accreditation to fulfill the official training on AVEVA\OSIsoft products.

The courses are performed in our training room, which is equipped with single workstations and multimedia teaching tools. The lesson follows a standard schedule.

Visualizing PI System data

The course teaches how to use components of the PI Visualization Suite to access and combine your process data with your enterprise data. Learn how to build dynamic, graphical, interactive web based dashboards with PI Vision. We will show you how to use PI ProcessBook, the tool for creating graphical displays featuring real-time PI System data, and PI DataLink, the add-in that allows user to access and deliver data to and from Microsoft Excel and create easy-to-read reports.

Analizing PI System data

The course is data oriented concentrating on viewing the PI System data, combining PI System data with other data, and creating reports allowing the analysis of the data through Business Intelligence (BI) tools. This class will teach you about different clients and tools to view your PI Data. The class will cover aspects of the following tools; PI Integrator for Business Analytics, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPivot, Microsoft PowerView, Microsoft PowerBI, and Tibco Spotfire.

Building PI System Assets and Analytics with AF

This course provides a working knowledge of the power of the AF Server, an integral part of the PI System. You will learn to define consistent representations of organizational assets and/or equipment and use these representations in simple or complex analyses that yield critical and actionable information.

In this class we discuss and build basic AF elements and attributes, construct calculations, and configure relational database queries. Other topics of the class are Event Frames, visualization of the information and Notifications to configure custom alarm.

PI System Administration

This class is designed for the Information Technology Professional who is tasked with maintaining the PI System. This class will concentrate on the server side of the PI System, and it will provide you with a working knowledge of the tasks required to maintain a PI System and support the technical needs of its users. It covers the utilities provided with the PI System, as well as tag and system configuration. This class covers common management tasks, understanding the data flow, and troubleshooting procedures.

PI System Architecture, Planning & Implementation

The course deals with the issues surrounding the implementation of a PI System. This class will concentrate on the server side of the PI System, and it will provide you with a working knowledge of the installation of both the Data Archive and AF Server. In this class each student will work to successfully install a High Availability PI System, from interfaces and connectors to visualization tools. You will spend valuable time discussing the components and their requirements so you can understand the best way the PI System will fit into your own Enterprise.

RtReports
The RtReports Administration class is offered to students who want to learn how to design and generate web-based regulatory compliant reports using the RtReports applications.  It is intended for PI System Managers and advanced PI System users. It allows students to design report templates and to become Power Users and trainers on report generation in their company.

In this class, we prepare the students to install and manage the RtReports server. The focus of this class is to teach students the best practices in report design and configuration.  The class also presents the graphical interface that allows plant personnel to generate, comment, verify and approve reports.
